Catalogue featuring works from 2020 to 2025 and insights into my artistic practice.

"Isabelle has a keen eye for detail. This is evident in her mixed-media works, where surface manipulation and intricate stitching emulate the rich textures of nature. Her works are excellent examples of what an art quilt can be. A means of personal expression with a strong sense of quilt tradition and heritage."

ARTIST TALK

As part of the Quilt Festival 2025, I gave an extensive artist talk about my creative work. I shared insights into my practice, my working methods, and the development of my projects, while discussing core themes, materials, and design processes. The talk provided an opportunity to explain my approach in more detail and to reflect on my work within the context of my artistic journey to date.

COLOUR TURNS INTO LIGHT

A report about my work in "Lust auf Regio" magazine, April 2025 issue.

"It is these exact lines of stitching that define the work of artist Isabelle Wiessler. She uses the technique of quilting, traditionally employed in patchwork. In her works, however, the stitches become lifelines on the face of her landscapes."

"SEARCHING FOR PERFECT HARMONY"

COLOR TO LIGHT

Report on my work "Searching for perfect harmony".

"A few years ago, I was looking for a way to capture the theme of 'color and light' in my artwork. This subject has often been explored by artists and has always fascinated me. My goal was to make a modest contribution to this diverse theme. I chose to represent this through several more or less realistic or abstract horizon landscapes."
