Stones, Rocks and plats are due to their nature, their shapes, their structure and their colour an infinity source of inspiration. Synthetic materials, as well as free hand machine stiching and Hand stiching are great ways to picture erosion, cracks, column, edges and elevation. If we capture a detail of a stone, try to capture the whole rock, or the experimental implementation can be realistic or the begin of an abstract work. 

In this class, we will create several small-scale pieces that will showcase a variety of techniques. We will work with acrylic felt, Tyvek, panne velvet, painted Vliesofix, and will embroider both on water-soluble or/and directly onto the materials
