We begin with an exploration of various materials that are particularly well suited to being melted, transformed or given a new texture using a heat gun, an iron or a soldering iron. Acrylic felt, Tyvek, panne velvet and Lutradur are painted or dyed using transfer dyes, embroidered, combined with one another or with other materials, machine-embroidered and scorched.
