After machine-quilting, adding color to the fabric is an extremely interesting aspect of surface design.

Various cotton fabrics are intentionally machine-quilted with different patterns. I will then show you, using various examples, which color is best suited for which effect. We work with paint sticks, water-soluble pencils, acrylic paint, and fabric paint. 

This way, you can make your quilt even more interesting afterward, or you can consciously choose this form of “coloring” from the very beginning. No special knowledge of painting is required—just a love of color combinations!
